Are these original artworks?
Yes. Every piece is an original work of art designed and created by Eric Engel. Some works are one-of-a-kind, while many others may be produced in limited editions.
What materials are used?
Each artwork is created from multiple precision-cut layers of cardstock paper that are carefully assembled by hand to create depth, shadow, and changing visual effects as the viewing angle and lighting change.
Is the artwork framed?
Each artwork listing will indicate whether framing is included. When framing is included, the artwork is professionally prepared and ready for display.
Is every piece exactly the same?
No. Because each artwork is handcrafted and slight color variations are part of the artistic process and contribute to the uniqueness of every piece.
Do you accept commissions?
Yes, we accept a limited number of commissioned projects when time and the nature of the project permit. Please visit the Commissions page for more information.
How should the artwork be displayed?
Layered paper artwork is designed for indoor display in a dry environment, away from direct sunlight and excessive humidity. For additional recommendations, please see the Care & Display page.
How is the artwork shipped?
Artwork is carefully packaged using protective materials designed to help ensure it arrives safely. Tracking information is provided whenever available.
Do you ship internationally?
International shipping may be available for selected artwork. Please contact Eric Engel Art before purchasing if you are located outside the United States.
Can I return an artwork?
