Each Eric Engel artwork is individually created, carefully inspected, and securely packaged before shipment. Because these pieces are original or produced in very limited quantities, the following policies help protect both the artwork and the purchaser.
Shipping
Available artwork will be carefully packaged to protect it during transit. Shipping costs and estimated delivery times will be provided at the time of purchase or shown in the applicable online listing.
Please verify that your shipping address is correct before completing your purchase.
Returns
Returns of eligible, non-custom artwork are accepted when:
- You contact Eric Engel Art within 14 days of delivery.
- The artwork is returned in its original condition.
- The artwork is returned in its original protective packaging.
- The artwork is shipped back within 14 days after return authorization is provided.
Please retain all original packaging until you have decided to keep the artwork. Returns must be securely packaged to help prevent damage during shipment.
The purchaser is responsible for return-shipping costs. Original shipping charges are not refundable unless the return is the result of an error by Eric Engel Art.
A refund for the purchase price will be issued after the returned artwork has been received and inspected. Artwork that is returned damaged, altered, or improperly packaged may not qualify for a full refund.
Custom and Commissioned Artwork
Custom, commissioned, personalized, or specially modified artwork cannot be returned or exchanged.
This includes artwork made in a requested size, color palette, configuration, or design.
Exchanges
Direct exchanges are not offered. An eligible artwork may be returned according to the return policy, and a separate purchase may then be made.
Artwork Damaged During Shipping
If your artwork arrives damaged, please contact Eric Engel Art within 48 hours of delivery.
Please include:
- Photographs of the damaged artwork.
- Photographs of the interior packaging.
- Photographs of the exterior shipping box.
- A photograph of the shipping label.
Please retain the artwork and all packaging materials while the matter is being reviewed. Eric Engel Art will work with you to determine an appropriate resolution, which may include repair, replacement when possible, or a refund.
Incorrect Item or Seller Error
If you receive the wrong artwork or an error was made by Eric Engel Art, please contact us promptly. Eric Engel Art will be responsible for reasonable return-shipping costs associated with correcting the error.

Purchases Through Other Marketplaces
Artwork purchased through Etsy or another third-party marketplace may also be subject to that marketplace’s purchasing, payment, return, and buyer-protection policies. When a marketplace’s rules apply, the return request should be initiated through that marketplace.
